Operation Others

The first Operation Others big group meeting will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 26th from 6:30-7:30pm in the Sullivan Center Commons.  Students from all of Prep’s Catholic high schools are invited to attend.  Come learn more about O.O. and how you can get involved this year.

Today was a beautiful celebration of the Immaculate Conception at Creighton Prep. Thanks to @OmahaMarian for singing with our young men and the @OperationOthers core team members in attendance, representing all eight Catholic high schools. We are ready for Delivery Day on 12/17!

Wednesday, we were able to celebrate our Christmas party will all members in their festive Christmas gear. Thursday, Prep welcomed all Core Team members to participate in the Immaculate Conception mass service. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Students from all eight O.O. schools are invited to come to @creightonprep Sullivan Center Commons to celebrate, make cards for the materially-poor, and hear delivery week details.

Thank you so much to all who donated today! We collected 1068 turkeys! We are honored to donate your bird along with many other food items to our materially-poor neighbors. If you missed the collection, we would gladly accept a donation via venmo to put towards additional food.

Our food drive is this week! We are collecting canned chicken and tuna to include in our food bags. Please drop off your donations of canned chicken and tuna @creightonprep We would like include 2 can in each bag we deliver to materially-poor families.

We hope to collect 1000 turkeys to include in food bags for our materially-poor neighbors.

The St. Leo's Knights of Columbus will host a pancake breakfast to benefit O. O. The breakfast will be held in St. Leo's Parish Center (1920 N. 102 Street) after the 8 a.m. and 10 a.m masses on Sunday, Nov. 13. The cost will be $7 for adults, $3 for children and $22 for families

Today is our first mission collection of the year. We plan to deliver food to over 1200 local families this Christmas Season. Your generous donation will be used to supplement our collected food with fresh produce, milk, and bread.

The catholic schools in Omaha are all preparing to do a food collection drive. Help us fundraise and spread the word!

Call 531-329-6003 to be added to the list to receive food from Operation Others. We will be accepting phone calls in English and Spanish. Spread the word!

The @OperationOthers Club is sponsoring a blood drive at Prep on Tues, 10/18. For every unit of blood collected, the Red Cross will donate $10 to the O.O. Club for this year’s program.   Parents, students, and friends of Prep are welcome to participate! bit.ly/CPREPHS

Join us October 26! Everyone is welcome! We will be collecting food donations for families in need in the Omaha area. Bring your friends and wear your best Halloween costumes.
