Well, what exactly are you referring to when you say a number of sources reported on it?
I agreed and said it's sus referring to his finances. There was no hard evidence that he broke the law, but his behavior was very sus. "A number of sources" CBC is garbage and you named 1, Juno. I saw posts of the same acxusafions across many platforms like reddit, etc, all the same content likely from the same source trying to bash him. Zero hard evidence.
If you have a source for something tangible, I'm all ears.

@MaximeBernier My stepfather's father was in a well-known residential school. He said it was mostly lies and wasn't really that bad. All the kids were treated equally, good or bad. Some were abused, but he had lots of good memories, and for many, it was better than being home.

I've been digging. I'm seeing a wave of repeating articles across many platforms. Countless repetitive articles are not substantial. The only red flags I'm finding are his finances and his Florida property. He seems to be irresponsible with money and possibly covering up his use of donor funds but no hard evidence. Definitely sus, though.

We spoke to Mark’s wife and I believe it stands true to this day that Maxime never spoke to him again once he became sick. Someone who will not even bother to help his own “friends” will surely not help random Canadian citizens. Once you have nothing to offer him, you won’t hear from him again.
He is just stacking pensions and while his property in Florida is under his wife’s name, it proves to me he is not a nationalist and would rather invest in another country than his own.
