I’ve watched some of the bravest, most grounded journalists enter that space and slowly lose what made them powerful in the first place. And sometimes it doesn’t even feel accidental… it feels like the system is designed to wear people down or set them up to fail. For me, I strongly believe in doubling down on what I know and do best. That’s where I feel most effective, and that’s how I believe I can contribute meaningfully. So I’ll have to respectfully decline, but I’m grateful you thought of me.
