The Youth Services Department’s Education & Training Center hosted a training via Zoom on Wednesday, July 10th titled “Addressing Subsystems in Family Therapy: Spotlight on Sibling Relationships” presented by Brittany Grimshaw Houghtlin, MS. #freetherapyPBCkids

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners declared July 17, 2024 as “13th Annual Kidsfit Jamathon® Day” Digital Vibez has been dedicated to mentoring underserved youth in Palm Beach County and some neighboring communities through dance, technology, and the arts.

The Youth Services Department’s Education & Training Center hosted a training via Zoom on Wednesday, June 5th titled “It Runs in the Family: Impact of Familial Substance Use” presented by Courtney Molina, PsyD.

The Youth Services Education & Training Center is pleased to announce the addition of three Certified PCIT Therapists – Megan O’Connor-Szuma, PhD, Sarah Barr, MA, and Amber Snedden, MA.

On May 29th, YSD hosted a training presented by Megan O’Connor-Szuma, PhD. “Bullying: Helping to Create an Inclusive Community” During the presentation, Dr. Megan defined bullying, identified the signs of bullying, the impact of bullying and its warning signs.

On May 28th, Amber Cope, MA presented “Mindfulness for Mental Health,” during which she explained mindfulness, described how it can benefit one’s mental health. #GetYourGreenOn #GYGO2024, #GYGO365

The Palm Beach County Youth Services Department’s Youth and Family Counseling (YFC) program is proud to a recap of its inaugural YFC Family Day Camp. Families participated in therapeutic workshops that were designed to collaborate and strengthen their familial relationships.
