My mum has this woman in Obosi she buys ogiri from, and now I understand why she always buys it in large quantities anytime she comes to the East. Can you mention one achievement of Umuada in Igbo land! Why can’t Umuada to mandate every Igbo woman to speak Igbo to their kids? Igbo culture permits intertribal and interracial marriage. However, Igbo culture wld not see a Kalabari wife, Ishan wife,Tiv wife and call her Igbo. Heck, Mrs. Margaret Obi (Peter Obi’s wife) has been married longer than Nwanyi Ocha and she isn’t called Igbo.
