Parent–child connection tip: Validate your child’s feelings before trying to fix the problem. When children feel understood, it helps them feel safe and teaches how to recognize and regulate emotions. Showing their feelings matter is a simple way to support emotional growth.

Circle of Parents doesn’t just offer parenting tips, it also provides parents with ideas and support for taking care of themselves. When caregivers feel supported and cared for, they’re better able to show up for their children.

Parent–child connection idea: Start a daily habit of checking in with your child. Ask, "What was the best part of your day?” and share your answer too. These few minutes help children feel heard, encourage them to share their thoughts, and build trust and communication.

Circle of Parents groups are built on key principles to thrive: trust, respect, reciprocity, shared leadership, accountability, responsibility, parenting in the present, and non-violence. These values create a safe and supportive space for parents to connect and learn together.
