Quick update for families: Sharp Middle School briefly evacuated this morning after a fire alarm sounded. Staff and students followed safety precautions, there was no emergency, and everyone is safe and back in class.

Pendleton County Schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. We will be utilizing NTI Day 9 and students should complete assigned work at home.

Pendleton County Schools will operate on a two hour delay Tuesday, March 17, 2026. We will continue to monitor weather conditions closely and adjust the schedule if necessary.

This afternoon (2/24/26) a bus was involved in a minor accident while en-route to begin their afternoon bus route. No students were on board at the time of the accident. More information will be shared if necessary. Thank you for your understanding!

We are aware of an accident impacting traffic at US 27 and HWY 17. This may cause buses to be delayed this morning (1/21/26). We appreciate your understanding and patience as we get all buses to schools safely.
