This man helped my son so much when he played football for him. Not only did he coach him in football but he also taught him about life. Sad to see him go.

Spent 7 seasons in the press box for Coach Davis. Spent 12 years in high school dugouts, 5 as HC. I’ve never met someone more prepared for their job when the lights come on. Hardest worker I’ve ever known in high school athletics.

Amazing what guys like Dinger and Polk County's Davis mean to their respective communities. So much more than coaches. These guys are the epitome of what molders of men should be. Both are entrenched and will continue to valuable assets to their communities.

@PC_Football_ Good friend and coach. I was on the opposing sideline 6 different times. Each time we knew we were in for a battle against a well coached team. Had many great times together going to coaching clinics as well. Polk County will miss Double D!
