Having some tree work done today. Meet the safety inspectors

Vet said it was likely cancer and even if they removed the spleen, she likely would have only had another 3-6mo left and been in considerable pain. So giving her a painless way out seemed the best option and the vet agreed.

Sad news to share. Kenzie has crossed the rainbow bridge today. She had an unknown tumor on her spleen rupture. She was 11yrs old. Not even 2 mo have passed since Daffy died. Rest in peace pup. You will be missed.😢

@Podlady Bird street bistro food is well liked by both but Gizmo is still suspicious. I freeze it in ice cube trays and put it in a bowl for them. Pugsley’s fav is probably dried greens. They are very papery and she disintegrates them

@Podlady Only Pugsley shows interest. But she lures Luna in too. I just act like its the best thing in the world eating it, so Pugsley wants it, then Luna wants what Pugsley has.

Hoomin made dried cantaloupe. And I like it!!! Seriously though, if you have a stubborn bird that wont eat fresh veggies, try dehydrating them. They take on a texture of paper or cardboard that they can destroy and enjoy.
