When Greeks and Serbs defeated the Ottomans in first balkan war, the territory that is now known as "albania" was supposed to be split among Serbs/Greeks and be their spoils of war. But Western powers didnt want Serbia to have access to the sea and to be too big and powerful, so they came in and created the albanian state.
