Hussam Shabat’s final message, written to be shared after his martyrdom: If you are reading this now, know that I have been martyred—likely targeted—by the Israeli occupation forces. When all of this began, I was just 21 years old, a university student with dreams like any other young man. For the past 18 months, I dedicated every moment of my life to my people. I documented the horror in northern Gaza, minute by minute, determined to reveal the truth they sought to bury. I slept on sidewalks, in schools, in tents—anywhere I could. Every day was a battle for survival. I endured months of hunger, but I never left my people’s side. By God, I fulfilled my duty as a journalist. I risked everything to tell the truth, and now, at last, I have found rest—something I have not known for the past 18 months. I did this because I believe in the Palestinian cause, in our right to this land. The greatest honor of my life was to die defending it and serving its people. Kristina De Lima held a Q&A with Ahmed Samir of Westcon-Comstor, who shared what it is like doing business in the UAE. He said “Always test your assumptions and manage your risk.
