@zkrienert06 True. No one likes cheering for a losing program and it’s not as appealing. But that also adds to the fact that Duke has had the fanbase forever so to say Nebraska fanbase is better based on the fact that they finally have a decent fanbase is wild

@PPrauner That started because they started winning. Exact same reason why there are a decent amount of kids that are not Husker football fans. They didn’t live through the “winning” so why start being fans other than parents telling them about the past.

@zkrienert06 Nebraska might get there one day. First NCAA tournament win ever is a huge step! Will help continue getting good players. I think you also have the right coach now. Just hope the fans stick around now just like football program. Then we can have the fanbase conversation.

@zkrienert06 No people have been fans of Duke forever because of their overall program. One of the greatest coaches of all time. A program that has withstood all the changes in college basketball over the years. Combined with getting ELITE players. That’s what makes fans of a program

@zkrienert06 I get that. There has always been die hards and attendance is great but it’s very comparable to the Chiefs… always had a good fanbase but once they started winning all of a sudden everyone is a fan and everyone is paying attention.. to say their fanbase is better than Duke. No

@zkrienert06 Nebraska basketball fanbase has been relevant for 1 year. Maybe year and a half… and majority of them never watched Nebraska basketball before last year… not taking a shot either. I enjoy seeing them do well. Just stating the fact
