@AttorneyCrump There is a vast disparity between the way Black and white people are policed in America. Past conditioning from the segregation era has hardwired militarized policing towards blacks. We must overcome this stigmatization @TPstudios @tylerperry @AttorneyGriggs @BET

12:30, 6/6: Clark was a bit more vocal this morning while egg-sitting. Here's an interesting clip. Do you think he hears or feels something? Only time will tell. It is Day 35 of incubation. #HellgateOsprey

There's a significant difference in how Black and white individuals experience policing in this country. The legacy of the segregation era continues to impact the lives of Black people, leading to ongoing over-policing. Tragically, it is often young lives that are lost due to entrenched mindsets and profiles that result in disproportionate responses. @AttorneyGriggs @BET @lmauricecpr @KyrieIrving @TPstudios @dpartland

The idea of 'reverse racism' is sometimes invoked by white individuals seeking to preserve existing power structures. This concept is often used as a tactic to sidestep discussions about systemic racism and the inherent advantages that white people may possess. @lmauricecpr @KyrieIrving @TPstudios @LionelRichie

@PTNickB @AttorneyGriggs @lmauricecpr @KyrieIrving @TPstudios You left out a very important part that you definitely need to research before commenting about black people. Black people were already here in the Americas for over 300,000 years. Everyone didn't come here by boat. Look up real history and NOT WHITEWASHED history!

Black Truck Driver to Sue After NC Cop Assaults him at Courthouse NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, NC - Attorneys for Don D. Long II, the 39 year-old Black man who suffered permanent eye damage and vision impairment after being needlessly assaulted by a deputy with the Northampton County Sheriff’s Office, released video of the assault where Deputy Gregory Colson sprayed pepper spray directly to his eyes at close range after Long simply inquired whether he could enter a courtroom at the Northampton County Courthouse. In addition to releasing the videos, Long’s attorneys have filed notice with Sheriff Jack Smith, Northampton County Manager Julian Phillips and other county officials that they intend to file a lawsuit over the unlawful use of force.

The connections between Rick Chow's fatal shooting of Cyrus Carmack-Belton and the tragic murder of 14-year-old Emmett Till reveal an ongoing systemic issue surrounding the policing of Black individuals by civilians. In both instances, a Black teenager was targeted based on an accusation that spiraled out of control. Emmett Till lost his life in 1955 after Carolyn Bryant made a false allegation about unwanted advances. In a similar vein, Cyrus Carmack-Belton was pursued and shot because store owners mistakenly believed he had stolen four bottles of water, which surveillance footage later showed he had returned to the cooler. Historical civil rights cases, like the all-white jury acquittals of Till's murderers, Roy Bryant and J.W. Milam, reveal a devastating trend in America. Non-Black individuals who take the lives of Black Americans often escape accountability within the justice system. The Richland County jury's not guilty verdict for Rick Chow echoes this distressing history, prompting advocates to feel that the lives of Black youth continue to be undervalued and insufficiently protected by the courts. I have produced many videos discussing the roots and impacts of racism and how it obstructs our progress. @AttorneyGriggs @lmauricecpr @BET @icecube @TPstudios @KyrieIrving @sherylunderwood @LionelRichie @meganeellison

Shooting a child in the back after chasing them for over one hundred yards isn’t self-defense. Rick Chow is a racist with a history of violence who wanted to kill a Black person.

Intensified policing of Black individuals continues to be a critical issue in America, rooted in systemic racism and historical injustices. The legacy of racial discrimination, such as the establishment of Black Codes, has reinforced stereotypes and systemic oppression against Black Americans. This historical context still impacts contemporary policing methods, resulting in the disproportionate targeting of Black communities. I have created several videos that explore the causes of this issue and potential solutions for the future. @lmauricecpr @KyrieIrving @TPstudios @BET @OWNTV

It's interesting to note that while many people stand firmly behind Daniel Penny's right to use force on a New York subway under a self-defense narrative, they often overlook the self-defense claims of Karmelo Anthony, a Black teenager in Texas. This contrast raises questions about how public sympathy for self-defense cases can sometimes reflect racial divisions. @AttorneyGriggs @KyrieIrving @TPstudios @lmauricecpr @BET

From its origins in slave patrols of the 1700s-1800s to modern practices, the policing of Black Americans is fundamentally linked to the nation's history of slavery and racial control. The pervasive nature of systemic racism within America's police forces and criminal justice system means Black people are three times more likely to be killed by police than white people and 4.5 times more likely to end up incarcerated. I have produced many videos to to bring attention to what keeps us stuck in this cycle, @lmauricecpr @KyrieIrving @TPstudios
