@paintsaints @RealAbs1776 I am so sorry for the loss for your mother. Thank you for sharing this. It is vitally important information. May your mother’s experience help save even on life. God bless.

I would love to share my experience with the hope that it could lend some clarity — though I think it’s a very IMPORTANT topic for everyone to understand, clarity or not. My mom died of sepsis last year. What started as an ear infection, somehow the bacteria from it made its way to her bloodstream. Once an infection takes ahold (poisons) your blood, it starts spreading that bacteria to all of your major organs. This is EXTREMELY dangerous, especially if you have a weak immune system. (My mom was in remission from stage 4 cancer and Kyle Busch was just coming off pneumonia — which weakened their immune systems, making them more vulnerable). When your immune system can’t fight (or keep up with) the bacteria rapidly spreading through your body, the bacteria wins and will start shutting down your organs as it tries to survive — and it happens very rapidly. I saw my mom 2 days before and talked to her 1 day before she went into sepsis shock. She was totally fine and even started taking antibiotics for her ear infection. Then she didn’t show up to work. A family member went to check on her at home and she was found unresponsive in her bed. She was rushed to the ER and put on life support. Her kidneys, lungs and heart all shut down — resulting in a stroke, heart attack and brain damage. Because of the sepsis and we lost her. It was very sudden and unexpected, just like Kyle’s situation. I knew nothing about sepsis until my mom passed away. We tried everything to save her, but God was ready for her. Sepsis kills more people than cancer and I wish the seriousness of it was talked about more. Had I known, I would’ve told my mom to stay have her doctor test her blood when they treated her for an ear infection. I wish my mom’s doctor told my mom about the dangers of sepsis and screened her blood right then — perhaps they would’ve caught it in time. I am NOT a doctor or medical professional, but my experience taught me how to spot the early signs that could potentially save a life. Some early signs of sepsis shock: • High Fever • Headache • Confusion/Mental decline/lethargy • Rapid heart rate and/or breathing • Decreased urination • Feeling extremely ill (intense pain/weakness) • Pale, cold, clammy skin If you or someone you know has a weakened immune system and they have (or feel like they have) an infection of any kind, PLEASE take the infection seriously. Ask your (or their) doctor about the potential of sepsis and to consider it as part of the treatment for an infection. (I’m sorry this is so long and I appreciate anyone who took the time to read it. I hope it has helped in anyway)

Kyle Busch died of sepsis caused by pneumonia. I’m sorry, but this makes little to no sense. With the money and access to treatment he had - someone either missed something or misdiagnosed something. How was he so sick with pneumonia that it became sepsis, yet 2 days prior he was kart racing with his kid? If his pneumonia were that far along, would he not have been damn near bed ridden? And what was his team doing letting him race while being that sick to begin with? thegatewaypundit.com/2026/05/nascar…

Sabres Twitter: They are wearing home blue this evening. (NOT their 3rd jerseys) Just a heads up. Don’t want some fans disappointed when they take the ice. It’s blue and gold tonight.

@GrandpaSnarky Even my 2 1/2 year old granddaughter sees it. Watching him being interviewed on the news, she proclaimed: "Donald Trump is mean to Tom Llamas. I don't like hm"

The GOP isn’t smarter than this 10-year-old. Last week while taking our grandson to school, stuck in traffic, a news report about Trump came on the radio. My wife and I barely noticed it – until our grandson quietly said, “I don’t like Donald Trump.” My wife turned and gently asked, “Why, honey?” Without even looking up from his tablet, he said: “Because he’s not kind to people.” That’s it. That’s the whole thing. A 10-year-old understood in one sentence what an entire political party keeps pretending not to see.

Can someone who is an expert in this space just keep it real with me and tell me if I should be worried about Hantavirus or not? I've got 3 kids and the youngest is 4 months old, I don't know what to believe.

@ThrillaRilla369 Cool trick it you have an Apple Watch. Open the calculator and at the top right it has a tip button. Just type in how much the bill is then hit the tip button. You can scroll the percentages and gives you a total plus tip.

You're eating out and the bill is $74 - what are you tipping? Be honest, I'm trying to prove a point.

Well that's as bad of a start as you can have. Sabres need to beat Swayman three times tonight to win this game. I don't think that's happening.

One of the most underrated and best things you can do during The Masters: have the Champion’s Dinner at Hall’s Chophouse in Columbia, SC. Offered Tuesday and Wednesday nights, menu on the right.⛳️💯
