Across centuries it was the man who was protecting the family from the crimes. The police and judiciary are recent phenomenon, as recent as some 350-400 years.
And btw now people are seeing the flaws in these too.
While in the west, most women were treated as slaves before the police and judiciary came into being, here the parmeshwar concept reminded the men to not treat women in a dharmic way.
The pani-grahan process in the marriage is nothing but passing on the responsibilities by the father of the girl to the man.
Bringing a girl home isn't just some privilege. It is a massive responsibility too.
How blatantly the lady in the video is running down and insulting all other women who manage household and raise the next generation, as if writing books is somehow more better than nurturing the next generation. And why are both the activities options to each other?
