4/1/2016 - LITERALLY ON APRIL FOOLS DAY!! 25 Days before the tournament begins, US Open Announces that the Dura Fast 40 will be used instead of the Wilson Neon Flare due to "sourcing concerns" from Wilson. A hilarious amount of players thought this was a weird April Fools joke. After confirmation of the news, players were extremely relieved to hear about this decision. The Dura Fast 40 was a known, reliable quantity and the Wilson Neon Flare was a looming disaster.
