I feel we are finally finding our rhythm and identifying the right combinations that work for this squad. It’s a rewarding feeling to string together three wins in a row after a challenging start. Even in the matches we lost early on, there were periods where we played some truly excellent cricket. We constantly reminded the team that we weren't far away from a breakthrough; it was just a matter of consistency. Now, we’ve been able to transition from playing well in patches to putting together complete, clinical performances. Today’s win was particularly satisfying because it was a tricky chase on a very difficult wicket. Defending or chasing a low score requires a different kind of mental toughness, and I thought Niazi and KP did a fantastic job of staying composed to finish the game for us. Our bowling unit deserves immense credit for setting this up. Hunain Shah and Mohammad Ali were outstanding once again; they’ve been very clinical, reading the game expertly and adapting their lengths to suit the conditions. I’m incredibly impressed with their development and impact. It’s nice to be in this position now, but we know the job isn't done yet."

Our goal was to push for a target of around 140, which we felt would be competitive, but unfortunately, our batting collapsed. You have to give credit to their bowlers—they never let us get away and kept us restricted to a total of 121. While it is important to find positives in our bowling performance, the reality of this tournament is that you need results. I’m proud of how the bowlers fought to push the match right until the very end, but the unfortunate truth is that we still haven't managed to get a win on the board. We are doing the work, but we need to translate these close contests into points."

Today, it was all about bowling according to the pitch and the specific conditions, and I’m glad that discipline brought the rewards. Bowling alongside Mohammad Ali makes things much easier for me. We’ve been a partnership for a long time, dating back to our days in domestic cricket, and I really enjoy that familiarity and rhythm we have together.
