Fabulous ringing session down in Northants today which really took my mind of things & so chuffed that I got to ring my first ever Tawny Owl😍 (5F) isn't she stunning?!? 151 birds processed (125 new and 26 retraps) of 13 beautiful woodland species.

Two or three Redpolls at St Albans Watercress Beds today with just a few Siskins. Don't know if this is a trick of the light or maybe a Mealy? I didn't notice a particularly lighter bird until I looked at the photo @Hertsbirds
