@CaseyPeterJ A vote for Jim Gavin is a waste of a vote. He has stepped out of the race. On the other hand a second preference vote may help one of the two remaining candidates who are interested in becoming president.

My sister found this letter from my Granny Kathleen Connolly from Strokestown Co. Roscommon applying for a job in 1923. She married Alphonsus Casey of Boyle in 1933 & was widowed in the 1940s with 5 kids & owned the boutique now known as Marian’s of Boyle. An industrious woman!

Used up last night’s leftovers for a tomato & mozzarella pasta bake served up with sourdough, olive oil & balsamic vinegar. My kids start to head home from different parts of the world this evening. Looking forward to having a full house for a few weeks & feeding the troops! 😊

@gavreilly Lots of comments here that say there is not an election any time soon. There is a presidential election before the end of the year. If Sinn Féin can get behind a left candidate, this poll might have some meaning.
