15 games on the MLB schedule today. Zero early afternoon starts. How is this still a thing? Give me a 12:30 first pitch every single day of the season. This shouldn't be controversial.

Schenider trusting Little in high leverage and getting burnt. Shit never gets old. Just pathetic he’s still on the team. Poor kid looks lost ALWAYS!
sharp edge picks@sharpedgepicks

I searched ‘Little’ in my text chats. Throughout September there’s a ton of ‘why did the @bluejays bring him in to watch him implode’ texts. It was OBVIOUS to jays fans. Clearly Atkins or Schneider ‘trusted’ some obscure metric over reality and it burned us big time.

Honest question for anyone turning 40 this year. Every friend we have is throwing a party (one tonight). What's the move on gifts? I'm in the nice bottle of wine/liquor camp. We're all adults with houses full of stuff we don't need. Just show up and let's have a good time, no?

Your brackets for March Madness shouldn’t be random. Over 95% of NCAA Tournament champions in the last 23 years met BOTH of these criteria:

This isn't an end-all, be-all, but it can be a helpful guide when selecting winners for your bracket pool. There are a few teams that narrowly miss the cut-offs and could be worth a deeper look: - Michigan State: 24th O/13th D - Virginia: 27th O/16th D - Arkansas: 6th O/48th D - Wisconsin: 11th O/51st D

The Bills offseason disaster just gets worse. They still have Josh Allen and things might still work out, but I really don't know how anyone could defend the process. The biggest argument for firing McDermott was the potential upside in a whole new direction.

@LastMenPod Atlanta, but it’s risky with the Drake London situation. Dallas would be 2nd choice getting back help on Defence. Overshown off IR and the trade guys Logan Wilson and Quinnen Williams

NFL Week 10 Observations - I’m not stunned Buffalo lost, but I am shocked that game in Miami played the way that it did. Josh Allen ended up with 300 passing yards, but the Bills were scoreless heading into the third quarter. - Jaxson Dart played well against a struggling Bears defense, every week he makes a handful of truly impressive plays, he’s consistently accurate, the future is definitely encouraging for the Giants, even though I’ll continue to say that mentioning Dart with Josh Allen and Tom Brady is 1. Quite a bit much and 2. If you’re going to go with a super high ceiling comp for Dart and his skill set, it’s Joe Montana. Mine would still be Jeff Garcia to Tony Romo. - While Dart left with a concussion, he slid on a couple of runs he normally wouldn’t have, which is encouraging. Dart’s fumble obviously wasn’t great but not a long-term concern as it was more of a careless, kind of odd fumble. - I will still say that Dart benefits from abnormal good fortune, here a one handed catch on a 30ish yard play from Darius Slayton, who does not do things of this ilk. Scoring drives that were extended by thin penalties. This is not a knock on Dart, I just doubt anyone else is tracking this kind of stuff, because like I said how often these kinds of things are happening, is abnormal. - When Russell Wilson filled in for Dart, the Giants had a 70 yard drive, that Wilson was in for most of, where New York kicked a field goal from the 1 to go up by two scores. - New York had no running game for most of the contest, and their pass rush, while I wouldn’t say it played poorly, still isn’t quite what it should be as a group. - Caleb Williams played better than the box score indicated, as Bears pass catchers had I believe 8 drops. Two were out of structure explosive plays in the endzone, a few more were high leverage drops from Olamide Zaccheaus. I’ll be curious to see if Zaccheaus’s rough outing leads to more opportunities for Luther Burden. - Similar to last week, this game, especially early, felt like Ben Johnson’s Lions offense structurally. Williams still has areas to improve in, but I’ve been seeing processing improvements for weeks and that continued here. Williams also made a number of pressure management and out of structure plays that few are capable of. He also led two late drives to come from behind and win this game. - Ultimately anyone that is overly critical of what Williams did here, either didn’t actually watch the game or is just parroting someone else’s narrative. He missed a few throws, including an open shot to Rome Odunze that he was a few inches off on, but overall, there was a lot more good than bad here for the league’s most polarizing QB in Williams. - Daniel Jones faced pressure again, and had an uneven, mediocre game. The prospect of spending big money to extend Jones would scare the daylights out of me if I were a Colts fan and I’m still not sure why this team decided now was the time to push their chips in the middle with the Sauce trade. - Jonathan Taylor ran for 244 yards and 3 scores where, needless to say, he carried the offense. - The Falcons pass rush has been better than I expected all year, and Drake London had another strong game were he accounted for over half the team’s passing yards. Another rough outing for Michael Penix and kind of a brutal loss for the Falcons. - I have said a number of times that I liked TreVeon Henderson a good deal more than Omarion Hampton pre draft, but this game was the first time I’d say I saw the Henderson I was expecting. I’m not sure if he’s been playing through something for most of the year, but he popped on his big runs here like he did in college. - Middling game for Drake Maye, kind of about what I was expecting where he was less consistent than he’s been over the last month plus, where two big explosives gave this passing game most of its production. - Baker Mayfield kept Tampa alive in this contest with his significantly reduced skill group, where rookie Emeka Egbuka had another 100-yard game with a score. - Justin Fields threw for 54 yards, and 42 of them came off a dump off to Breece Hall. The Jets returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns. - I’m genuinely looking forward to not having to watch this Browns’ offense anymore once the season ends. The QB situation not being great isn’t a surprise, but Cleveland’s offensive line has struggled for most of the last two years. - Minnesota had three turnovers and Brian Flores’ defense kept the Vikings in this game by holding Baltimore to four field goals deep into the third quarter, when the Ravens finally punched one in on a very short field. - I’ve said a few times over the last few weeks, I think Baltimore is either going to win out or lose once more in the regular season from here. I also have a Ravens vs Rams Super Bowl ticket. - I’m going to start framing JJ McCarthy as sloppy Jaxson Dart. They have similar skill sets, as McCarthy is mobile, he’s crafty and he makes a few impressive plays most weeks, but his accuracy has been inconsistent to this point and he had two turnovers. - Ugly offensive performance from the Panthers, but Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough made a handful of encouraging plays in this game to the extent that I’ll go back and watch all his reps this week. - The Seahawks game was over early, where they jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and never looked back. It’s rare to see an NFL team win 44-22 and lose the turnover battle 3-2. The Seahawks ran for 198 yards on 46 carries. - The Lions demolished the Commanders, as expected, and Jahmyr Gibbs had a monster game, as also expected. - Matthew Stafford threw for four touchdowns and continues to be in an excellent situation in the MVP race. - Mac Jones completed 33 of 39 passes in a strange scenario where the 49ers got pretty beat up, but it would be hard to say that Jones didn’t play well. - I did not see enough of Texans vs. Jaguars nor the Sunday night game to have any real takeaways from either. I will try to do this early each week, but to be clear I am doing this for the purpose of growing my following. That means engagement is my requirement so I reach new eyes, likes, comments, retweets, and bookmarks are all appreciated. You can follow me @RyanReynoldsNFL
