@Permish_ @ToxicAssWhore It should be: Team A:s bans are Team B's bans and vice versa. Eg. Team A bans Doorman. Now is Doorman banned for Team B as well Team B bans Mina. Now is Mina banned for Team A as well. Then start at like 3 bans when fewer heroes are in the game then go to 5 and eventually 6

I genuinely dont even think the current ban system in Deadlock works

Because one key aspect of a competitive MOBA is the ban phase and it helps balancing the game a little bit more, which tbh is needed in a MOBA It is needed as a character might not be inherently broken but broken in a team comp/after certain bans/on different ranks

@ToxicAssWhore I am an outsider looking into Deadlock here and there because it is an awesome game. But would Deadlock sooner or later benefit from a Dota/League style ban system? Why? Why not? Are there still to few characters, could this happen in the future?

@ednamodefanacc @DeltyThe73rd I don’t think the will remove it cause a team can get 3 “free” kills by doing this…. Especially knowing that if they use their 3 pauses for something like this and someone DCs it’s over. 3 kills don’t make a big difference in deadlock

@DeltyThe73rd This is why we can’t have nice things. Even with restrictions (3 pauses/team, 6 pauses/game, maximum uncontestable pause of 30s each). I was quite certain that some fuckwit cretin would still try to abuse it, forcing Valve to remove it for everyone to prevent wide-spread abuse.
