Both buildings are hosting Walk of Champions this afternoon to congratulate the girls' indoor T&F team on its Section V Class B4 title & recognize student-athletes from both teams who won individual titles. We wish them all the best as they compete this wkend at state qualifiers!
Mrs. Sedivy's Engineering & Environment students recently toured Morton Salt, where they witnessed every step in the mining, production & packaging of salt. Next, they headed to Marquart Farms to learn about growing, sorting & storing potatoes & how they are made into NY Chips.

Our 8th graders embraced winter last Friday - or at least tolerated it - for a fun day spent at Canalside in Buffalo. The 8th grade team reports that the trip was filled with falling, helping one another, and giggling, so we'd say it was a success! #PrideInTheHive
Today, thanks to a generous donor & the Act 4 Community, each of our 4th grs is picking out an age-appropriate book at Act 4 Books to take home - completely free! We are so grateful to live in a community that provides opportunities to foster a love of reading in our children.
Our Odyssey of the Mind teams have been hard at work preparing for this wkend's Regional Comp! There was so much interest in the program, which gives students an opportunity to be creative problem-solvers, that 4 teams needed to be formed this year.
We could listen to the All-County Jazz Band jam all day! PHS is filled w/ so much musical talent as area students selected for All-County Festival 1 are currently rehearsing. Don't forget you can attend tomorrow's concert for free at PHS starting at 1:30 pm (doors open at 1 pm).
When Assemblywoman Andrea Bailey reached out to PES in need of Valentine's Day cards for WyoCo Office for the Aging, Mrs. Adolf's elem art students took on the challenge! Students are finishing up their heartfelt cards, which will be distributed to seniors throughout our county.
We're hosting GVSMA's All-County Festival 1 Saturday, Jan. 31 at PHS! Show starts at 1:30 pm and open to public. We will be streaming the event live on our FB page. Congrats to the participating students, as well as Ms. Privatera, Mrs. Wheeler, Mr. Hirsch, and Mr. Michaelis!

This week, UPK-6 classes will have a pizza party thanks to the generosity of anonymous donor. This individual also provided funds that made it possible for us to purchase age-appropriate game/toy for each ES students. We are so thankful for the thoughtfulness of this individual!
