@jpalmiotti Honestly? This stuff is really hurting the fan base. In the past we enjoyed comics without even knowing the creator's opinion on politics and that was fine. Comics were our escape and now because of social media, we get to read their opinions. I think it should be kept neutral.

Took down some of my political discussions mainly because a lot of people are having trouble not attacking and using foul language reading opinions they disagree with, so just lightning the load, but the opinion I put out there, as always, are mine. Understand that you can disagree, and thats fine...but I block those without manners or attack others all day long. We see the world differently, and I see a threat of free speech hurting all of us over time.

@jpalmiotti I'm in CA, what we've noticed the most is the "shrinkflation" where they keep the price similar to what they've been asking the last few years, but offer less product...this has happened with all items from juice, to veggie dogs, and other snacks as well.

I have a lot of people telling me grocery prices are dropping where they live- then state where you are from and let me know if this is true. For my area, Tampa Florida, things are up pretty big time in the past 6 months. The products get smaller and the prices are up on Milk- meat, cereal and bread. You?

@jpalmiotti Usually the movies for me. Would wait outside the theater until they either show up or the movie was about to start. That way win-win either way. I've never minded watching a movie on my own. I was the only one I knew with a beeper when those came along. So that didn't help.

I need my older people here- who remembers before portable phones, making plans with someone and then meeting them at a place at a specific time and place and you couldn't contact them except to call their home? You had the choice to wait or leave. No other info.

Pedro Zamora died 30 years ago today. I’ve been thinking about this post for awhile, and I had hoped/assumed it would be a little more “celebratory.” Despite losing him, I was assuming that we were entering a time of greater hope.

@jpalmiotti When I would walk around there in the mid to late 90s (college) most of those places were all boarded up and shut down, In preparation for the soon to be clean up. There were maybe two three or so left?

I went to high school near Times Square, from 76-79 and me and my friends would have adventures here- A world that will never be again. Dangerous, exciting and most of all, a ton of fun. It is worthy of a novel, trust me.

Going through some old stacks of art...found something I drew from the days when comics cost 1.50-1.95. A time when glossy paper stock was the rage, gimmick covers were everywhere. A new player in the world of comics (@ImageComics ) was everywhere.

Gonna be focusing on my main reason of having joined places like this in the first place. Art. Comics. Being a positive force. Sending out good energy. Right now that has to be the focus for me.

@thatpetewoods It’s odd to me. There was so much excitement and enthusiasm for the Dem side. I don’t necessarily buy that we forfeited? I was seeing things I’ve never seen before from people across the spectrum…unless that was the “red mirage”…making us think we had that advantage.
