I'm obviously no stranger to doing this kind of detailed textural stuff either. But when I see people doing mad shit I have no idea about I just think.. not sure I can match that, any if everyone's doing it, how do I stand out?! Trying to play to my strengths.

Lots of 3d people pushing their style to be more realistic /more 'satisfying', making textures extremely detailed, realistic fabric sims ect. it's impressive but makes me want to withdraw from that world to avoid comparisson. Feeling like I want to reduce things down again.
