@Sam_Trqst @drexmgrl arguably all the way up to GM can be hit just by queuing enough, although there is a baseline skill/familiarity level that needs to be met. it’s not that high though

@Sam_Trqst @drexmgrl a huge amount of plat players are just silver players who play the game a lot. the skill difference is very small most of the time. elo gain is so busted that any rank below diamond can be hit easily just by playing the game, unless you’re REALLY bad.

i’ve just seen a plat player say that they smurf in silver/gold 😭😭 idk how to tell you this but… you’re basically just walking around your own neighborhood bro

@Jake__Satoshi @Luv1sLif3 @RivalsHQgg both are important statistics, but pick rate should factor in games when the hero is banned. it makes zero sense! play rate SHOULD count bans, because it’s representative of the overall selection time. entirely different statistics.

@bunnimoniOW at the game. one thing i hear a LOT is “if i had better teammates i’d be x rank”, but that’s the completely wrong mindset. nobody ranks up because they have better teammates than you; they win DESPITE their teammates, because they play well enough to make more of an impact.

@bunnimoniOW blaming others is the worst possible thing you can do for improvement. EVEN IF it was literally every other person’s fault, looking at their mistakes won’t help you improve. Focusing in on your own missteps so you can improve on them over time is what leads you to get better-

@notLexa14 i’m not just talking out my ass; i have over 100 hours on her, played her in quite a few tourneys, some of which i won money in. did okay in MRC with her too.

@notLexa14 she is easy. she can be very skillful, and can have a very strong presence on the game, but she is by no means mechanically difficult. you can get a lot of value through skilled macro and knowing when/how to use her CDs, but she’s still incredibly mechanically easy.

To all of you who are saying Cloak and Dagger is easy. Stand up send me a vod code of you playing her in a game where you think you did well. Add me on discord and lets get into a call where we vod the game and I will tell you all of the things you are not doing correctly.

@Luv1sLif3 @RivalsHQgg No??? Only calculating “pick rate” based on the time available is stupid. So if a match with Elsa unbanned goes 5 minutes. And then a match where she is banned goes 55 minutes her pick rate is 100% while if Gambit is played in the second and banned in the first his is 0.91%? LOL
