If I had to guess, L5 thinks, at least at one point, that using the Yo-kaiWatch name would damage a product's marketability, so they went with a new ip, HolyHorrorMansion, instead and are using this concept for PuniPuni instead. It's still sad, I would rather have a new ykw game.

@Stealth40k Yo-kaiWatch created an extremely detailed and interesting to explore city. No one really talks about it. Over 4 games in the same city, and I didn’t really ever get bored of it. Here, the sense of scale feels a bit off to me. It's still in development tho. Hope its good...

Level 5 confirmed that the next concept for Yokai Watch is still in development. No platforms are announced but we can probably assume Switch 2, PS5 and PC at least.

Level 5 CEO Akihiro Hino announced the Vision 2026 Presentation will air on April 10th at 7am ET. This year, they aren't announcing the games beforehand to enhance the surprise. I hope they reveal the release date for Professor Layton and The New World of Steam!

In Super Mario 64 DS, giant characters normally cannot crawl. However, reading a sign pounded halfway into the ground forces the character into a crawling pose. When giant, this results in the character's giant posterior completely blocking the entire screen.

@Komabassador I wish they would read the room a little bit. All they had to do was have an intern or someone write a fake announcement article about Level 5 Land as if it was real. No ai required. If they really wanted to fool people, they should have announced Yo-kai Watch 4 in English...
