Glorious day for cricket, hosting Chatsworth Sporting v Southern Natal. Pity Sporting players being denied a home game as @ethekwiniprc staff couldn't get Chats Oval, 1st class field prepared! Well done Dist. 9 staff for getting Lahee Park prepared despite resource challenges!

@compocric Hi Patrick, great to see the press visit Lahee Park! The @ethekwiniprc District 9 staff are very helpful but equally frustrated with not being allocated the right equipment. Easily solved if @ethekwiniprc upper management get involved!

Lovely to see Pinetown CC beat Toti at Lahee Park on Sunday, but frustrating to see the thick outfield. Virtually impossible to hit ball on the carpet for four. Those conditions encourage slogging the ball in the air, not the way to train young batsmen. More mowing please!
