What is this 4.9% surcharge for inflation and tariffs? Just raise your prices!
Serious question for fellow economists: if they were to report prices for the CPI, would it be the listed menu prices or would they include this 4.9% surcharge?

I made this map in R using cowplot, basically manually positioning everything (the insets and the lines). Is there any package out there that has automated this a bit? This took HOURS to get right (and I could honestly spend longer).

@LeistenEcon For an editor, this is problematic, but not nearly as problematic as an encouraging report with a mean cover letter.

Whelp, I just set the high water mark for meanest referee report I've ever received.
On one hand: if you really think the paper is far from where it needs to be, this is certainly a way to convey that.

@ElliotLip The major player without a recent undeclared data breach has the best coverage, Canada is free with our plan, and plans for overseas travel are ok. But it isn't cheap, and the customer service experience is no better than other carriers. Caveat emptor.

What cell phone plan should I get?
I want:
- Unlimited data/call/text (to US and Canada)
- Good coverage in Northeastern US, including fast data - Easy to buy add-ons for international travel
Conditional on these, cheaper is obviously better.
