TAKEOVER retweetet

Is storytelling the reason most web3 games don’t keep players?
When you think about the games people spend the most of their time on, there’s always something keeping them interested.
It’s either the story or the suspense within it.
it’s never about just the mechanics, it’s the feeling of wanting to know what happens next.
Like when you start a game and the intro doesn’t explain everything but shows you just enough to keep you interested.
that’s exactly how I felt watching this lore from PlayTakeover by @FortBlockGames
It’s about a faction called Aquafeelya with two members sneaking into a facility trying to uncover an ancient code even though they don’t fully understand it yet.
As the player, you’re left to try to piece things together and that’s what keeps people playing.
It’s not only about the gameplay but the curiosity.
These kinds of intros already change how you see the game before you even begin.
this is how web3 games should feel tbh
Why don’t you take a minute to watch it through, then tell me what you think
Would this kind of intro be enough to make you try Takeover?
