@Podrivel @_taylorhudak But we know exactly what Magyar has to do, otherwise Hungary won't get any money from the EU. It's strange that Hungary needs money from other net contributors, otherwise everything will collapse.😉

Peter Magyar and his TISZA government are going to help set up for the complete and total control of the Hungarian media. The media will not be independent nor will it be free. It will be subservient to the European Board for Media Services.

@scientificecon There is if we're talking about principles. But if we are being precise about what he promised and what he's delivering, so far there is no broken promise. We'll see what happens...

Nice tale, but a fairy tale. Peter Goulash seems to really dislike incumbent Prime Minister Orban and has a huge grudge against him for promoting his then wife to a ministerial post but not him. Also, Goulash has already broken a key campaign promise, much repeated, to join the ICC and thus break with Mileikowski (Netanyahoo). Either there will be more broken conservative promises or we must expect a Charlie Kirk-style intervention: If you accept mafia money but don't deliver to the mafia what they want, they'll be very unhappy.

🚨🚨HUNGARIAN CHESS THAT MAKES BRUSSELS CRY🤣😂🤣 🇭🇺 Viktor Orbán places his trusted “traitor” and the EU falls into the perfect trap: the checkmate that has left Brussels, Soros, and Obama humiliated. In a display of political chess so brilliant it borders on the comical, Viktor Orbán sniffed out long ago that the European Union, George Soros, Obama, and the whole globalist club were gunning for him. With no worthwhile left-wing opposition left in Hungary (none of them cracked the laughable 5% electoral threshold), the Hungarian prime minister decided to solve the problem his own way: he took his top ally and right-hand man, Péter Magyar, and sent him out front as a deluxe “opponent.” The plan was as simple as it was genius: Magyar, who until 2024 was a key piece of the Orbán government, dramatically jumped ship, played the dissident, eagerly accepted funds from the very Eurocrats who despise Orbán, and positioned himself as the great hope for “change.” The European left and their patrons fell into the trap like flies into honey. “At last!” they shouted in Brussels, as they cracked open the checkbook. No one understood a thing, of course, because hardly anyone speaks Hungarian and the headlines in Western media were too flattering to question. The result? Magyar won. And the moment he set foot in power, the “traitor” revealed his true face. He declared that the border “isn’t strong enough,” rejected 90% of Ursula von der Leyen’s demands, prioritized the rights of ethnic Hungarians, and in practice, stuck to the same sovereigntist line that so irritates the EU. The European Union, Soros, Obama, and company bit the bait, shelled out the cash, and now stare in stunned disbelief as the “change” they celebrated so much is exactly the same old Orbán—just with a different name. Masterstroke. 5D chess at its finest. And the best part: all of it legal, all of it clean, and all of it right under their noses.

@MaxAbrahms Bwuhaha... for defense and justice. Right. What you said would be laughable if what Israel is doing wasn't so deeply tragic, inhumane and simply evil. Your soul is as rotten and damned as the rest.

Since Argentina is being talked about more these days, here is something that will make your jaw drop if you've never heard about it. One of the most powerful and notorious crime rings in the world in the late 19th and early 20th centuries was a Jewish Ashkenazi mafia organization called 'Zvi Migdal' (and sometimes 'Ashkenazum'). Their expertise? Trafficking young girls into prostitution across the globe (from Poland to India and New York; they even trafficked some Jewish Moroccan girls). The center of their operations was Buenos Aires, and for a while they were so powerful, and handed out so much bribe, they practically dominated Argentina's political system. Epstein was not a pioneer, you see. Zvi Migdal preceded him by more than a century. I was waiting a long time for someone to point out the similarity, but no one did, so there you go

Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek)
I have arrived at the Sándor Palace to meet the President of Hungary. @DrTamasSulyok is unworthy of representing the unity of the Hungarian nation. He is unfit to serve as the guardian of legality. He is not fit to serve as a moral authority or a role model. Following the formation of the new government, Tamás Sulyok must leave office immediately.

@cibiscosisagain @amuse I don't disagree rgd Russia, but I do disagree with the belief that the EU is a benign alliance looking out for the rights, well-being and soveriegnty of its members. It has its own political motives that many times go against the interests of its members states.

@Podrivel @amuse One side is destructive and nefarious, using dirty, underhanded, illegal tactics at the expense of civilians with endless money. The other side is trying to defend itself and the alliance against subversion. They are not the same. They are not equal, certainly not morally.

@Podrivel @amuse I agree, sovereing elections should be off-limits to that kind of pressure. In Hungary's case that pressure came from Russia (whose interest is to weaken the EU) with dirty tricks. Defending against that pressure should be a non-controversial position.

We're not talking about a couple counter-measures. The EU used asymmetric institutional power to systemically produce a specific outcome. ie. economic coercion, NGO actions and media funding. To me that's the definition of engineering. By admitting that we are not ignoring real Hungarian discontent, Russia's meddling, and the fact that voters overwhelmingly chose Tisza. But call it what you will. Either "engineering" or "defending EU values" depends on whether you think sovereign elections should be off-limits to that kind of pressure.

@Podrivel @amuse how is countermeasures against outside influence "engineering"? If I worry about thieves and robbers, I'm not being "engineered" if I get an intruder alarm from my friend.

@Podrivel @amuse That's still very vague and theoretical, but more defensible. Given that Hungary is in the EU, & Russia had vested interest in keeping Orbán in power, it would make sense for counter-intelligence measures to make sure no outside force disrupts the elections in a member state.

@cibiscosisagain @amuse maybe a more precise wording would be that the EU supported and incentivized the outcome through several institutional and policy means - overt and covert - at it's disposal, to ride and amplify the growing discontent among the Hungarian population.

@Podrivel @amuse The article claimed the EU engineered the outcome. That is pure bullshit. There is no 4D chess, no globohomo conspiracy. Just voters getting rid of a corrupt, traitorous bastard. It was a domestic matter, not a global strategy move. Hungary's importance is way over-inflated.

@Podrivel @amuse The goals of the EU and the gripes of the voters are not mutually exclusive. However, it's not a conspiracy or global 6D chess game because their goals are aligned. Orbán was a corrupt traitor who sold his soul and his values to Russia. He had to go.

Why are the gripes of Hungarian voters and EU goals mutually exclusive? There has to be real discontent upon which to create the momentum. That discontent can further be amplified through withholding of funds using violation of EU values excuses. That would only reinforce reality.

@Podrivel @amuse This analysis has no grounding in reality though. The hungarian voters voted on domestic issues: crumbling institutions, wrecked economy, obscene levels of corruption and Orbán being in bed with Putin. EU had fuckall to do with it.

I like the theory that Orbán and Magyar agreed years ago that Magyar was going to be Orbán's successor. They set Magyar up as the 'opposition' and tricked every liberal and globalist into supporting his campaign. Thus giving the new leadership a legitimacy it would never have if it had simply been appointed by Orbán.

🚨BREAKING: Hungary's new PM has REJECTED the EU's migration pact: "We will still not join the pact. We will actually reinforce the border further to protect Hungary and broader Europe. We will find a way to stop the EU's daily fine." The globalists thought they'd won. 🇭🇺
