The northeast district police have decided to restructure riots cells for proper investigation of cases. Each of the 11 police stations that were affected by the riots will have such a cell where an inspector-level officer will monitor the cases exclusively.

Heroes of the Week With the arrest of three habitual offenders, Team PS Sonia Vihar recovered huge amount of robbed good jewellery and vehicles, solving 12 cases across the district. Their efforts make them our heroes of the week. Jai Hind !

CT Yogendra Singh of PS Jafrabad returned cash around Rs 2,50,000 along with documents of two people from Maharastra who had lost them in an auto-rickshaw. His efforts to locate the auto, recover the valuable and return them to the owner all in a day’s work makes us proud.
