Henry was given a deconstructed version that had heavy amounts of nuance, and he did it well. So well in fact that outside of Christopher Reeve he's the most talked about Superman, and I would argue that given his proximity to current events he's probably talked about even more so than the 1978 film
Paramount should really bring him back

I've never lip synced, used live autotune etc but I am increasingly discouraged by the insane levels of live fakery going on in the music industry. The issue with the copious amounts of pitch correction on seemingly "live" performances has conditioned generations of music listeners to expect perfectly pitch assisted vocals to 440 Hrz down to the zero cent which simply isn't possible. Due to this fact professional singers are in this catch 22 scenario. Do you sacrifice authenticity and perform with live autotune/lip sync or other forms of deception or do you just get on stage and sing live, bumps bruises and everything? I feel the latter is the better call but I'm seeing more and more people throw shade at ACTUALLY good performances unaware that their ear has been conditioned to only expect a level of perfection that humans can't recreate naturally. Everything to the national anthem, live concerts, etc is primarily mostly faked(TikTok and Instagram are lost causes in that regard) to a significant degree and it's harming the art of live singing. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't scenario.

@bust_bob @sacrelicio As a result what's actually an acceptably good performance in the past sounds "bad" because it's not tuned to 440hz, everything from the national anthem, to concert tours are almost all adjusted this way while in this clip it's just a guy with a microphone actually singing live.

A big part of is it how conditioned people are to artificially assisted vocals, in pretty much any "live" performance, TikTok video etc the singing you're used to hearing is adjusted to a level that's humanly impossible. Back then you weren't constantly exposed to that level of fakery.
