I remember following my mom to work as a child, looking down from her office on the 20th floor in Marina. The sight of cars was beautiful. The sight of Balogun market was a mess, with people looking like sands in the anyhowness of Lagos. Molues were endless and painted the city bright and faded yellow. I enjoyed looking down at the city that has now reinvented itself. Recently, I was driving, and I wondered if there is a 7 year old boy somewhere in his mother's office in Marina looking down at me, and I smiled. Serendipity!
