I worked on the backend of an SEO analysis tool designed to go beyond traditional audits. Users can submit a domain (with a capped number of daily analyses), after which the system scrapes on-page data and feeds it into an LLM to generate higher-level insights — including brand positioning, recommendations, and SWOT analysis. Instead of just presenting SEO metrics, the system focuses on interpretation — turning raw data into insights that are actually useful. A key part of the work involved designing a reliable pipeline for scraping, processing, and analysis, while keeping the overall experience fast and frictionless. The current version leans heavily on LLM-based interpretation, but the next phase will incorporate SEO APIs to provide more concrete, data-backed summaries. Building this has been a solid exercise in combining backend engineering, data extraction, and AI-driven analysis into a single workflow.
