@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers had so much fun going on a shopping trip to buy the different types of clothing we've been discussing! They helped set up the store by categorizing clothes and then chose one item from each category for their bag. So cute!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers learned more types of clothes this week with a cute "dress for the weather" activity! We created outfits for warm, sunny days, relaxing indoor stormy days, rainy days, and more!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 Ms. Leone introduced us to an adorable story, "Sneezy the Snowman"! We retold and illustrated the story for her class and then did a fun science experiment! Our snowmen were made from baking soda and water and melted when we added vinegar.

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers had a great first day back to school in 2023 with a fun snow science project exploring colors with our instant snow!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers are having a great time with our trees unit! We sorted leaves, created shape orchards, sequenced the life cycle of a tree, learned about the seasons of a tree, and visited with a gardener who plants and cares for trees!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 Today, the preschoolers started their Trees study! We learned the different parts of the trees, roots, trunk, branches, and leaves, on our nature walk and then painted them with this cute craft project!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers learned about more and less today with our apple taste test! The kids each tried a red, yellow, and green apple and chose a favorite to add to our graph. It was cool to look inside the apples and taste lots of different kinds!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers are excited to welcome the season of fall with a special week all about apples! We read "Ten Red Apples" and then went apple picking like the characters in the story! It was a great lesson on counting and sorting and so fun!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 Our preschool class has had so much fun learning our class rules this week! Today we made "kindness stew" with each lucky charm representing something we can do to be kind and acted them all out!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 The preschoolers have done so many cool science experiments this week with water! We tested to see how and why water makes things wet, what mixes with water, and what floats in water!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 Today the preschoolers wondered, "Where does water come from"? "Bob the Snowman" was a great beginner text to introduce students to the water cycle. Then, we did a cloud science experiment to see why water rains down from the clouds!

@MtView07836 @melandyk @JOlsyn1109 What can't you do with water? The preschoolers had a great time reading and finding clues to different things people use water for. Then, they played with water and painted with it, too!
