Assembly this week was all about Careers week, especially careers in our local area 🚗

We were pleased to invite @smokefreeknowsley1 into assembly this week. All of the students learnt about the dangers of smoking and vaping 👍🏻

Well done to all of those students who got nominated by history to have their work displayed on the Legendary Learner table - the detail in your work shows true tenacity! 📚

Our Year 10 music students went to @adlib.co.uk today to learn about the people, equipment and magic behind live events 🎶

Our students have with working with @evertoninthecommunity They have been celebrating World Book day through creative writing sessions. They have been using their imaginations to write and illustrate short stories 📕 @plinspires @plcommunities

Some of our well deserved Year 8 students were the recipients of hot chocolate with Mr Reynolds this week. Well done all ⭐

Well done to our Year 9 football team who showed great integrity and tenacity in their match against Kirkby High which ended in a 2-0 win 🥇

Some of our Year 8 students were invited by @evertoninthecommunity to take part in a day of sporting excellence at Aintree racecourse. They had an amazing time and were a credit to the school 🏆

The remit in catering today was to re design a tea cake. Well done year 10, these look amazing 🤩

This week’s STEM club was all about design and innovation with these very practical pop up bins for the desk 🗑️

One of our students Oliver has been karting since he was 8 and has 2 cadet local 1st place championship titles in the BIKC and ranked 10th in the northwest in regionals 2 years running. This weekend he has a race at Silverstone! Good Luck Oliver 🚘

We had some visitors in today from Knowsley Council. They asked students at The Prescot School their opinion about extra curricular opportunities in the area. Our students gave some brilliant feedback which we hope will help structure clubs in Knowsley! @knowsleycouncil

A group of year 8 student took part in a Safer Internet Day workshop with EiTC. They explored how to use AI safely and responsibly., learning how to spot potential risks and make smart choices in a digital world 🌍 @EITC @premierleague

We love recognising and rewarding all of our students and there is no better way to do than with our Achievement Assemblies at the end of term. We always welcome back the tombola of truth 🌟
