Worked as an usher at an event today and I won’t recommend. We stood for hours, walking around, ushering people in,serving food and drinks to the guests and I even got insulted by 2 guests. After everything,the caterers said the food was finished. As in,there was no food left for the ushers that have been toiling since. Mind you,we were not paid,it was a voluntary service since the celebrant is a fellow usher in my church. No food, no meat,no drink, after sharing to others nothing was reserved for us. I felt bad ngl and I won’t be doing this again.
