When we talk about governance, many do not get it. Peter Mbah became Enugu State governor, and he started building "smart schools". Alex Otti in Abia State went to the existing schools and started rebuilding them. Abia State now has functional smart schools while Enugu has people running around the EFCC. In 14 years, people will say Peter Mbah built schools while Alex Otti didn't. Funny.

I want a Peter Obi presidency because I need Nigeria to reclaim its place on the world excellence map, and it starts with education—a Nigeria where the most investment is in children’s education and health. He's done it before. He still does it. He can do it again.

Dealing with flooding in Lagos requires a forward-thinking approach tied to public policy and town planning. We need to adopt sponge cities initiatives, proper waste management policy, and technology for early warnings, rapid response, and emergency protocols. #ourlagos

Please watch this video. You will be amazed by how Peter Obi shows deep knowledge of Nigeria's road networks in this interview. The first quality of a great leader is deep knowledge of what he is about to lead. Tell me how a minister of works can deceive him. Let Tinubu tell us about the roads in the South East or North East.

My Stance on Road Development There is a pertinent reason I have consistently advocated that we should refrain from initiating new road construction projects until we have thoroughly rehabilitated and maintained our existing road network. Instead of undertaking new ventures and dualization projects that offer marginal benefits, our primary focus ought to be on repairing the critical roads already in place. Consider, for instance, the Asaba–Benin Road. This thoroughfare is a vital artery within Nigeria's transportation infrastructure. Travellers traversing from Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Rivers, Imo, Ebonyi, Cross River, Abia, Enugu, and portions of Benue and Kogi States to Lagos are compelled to utilise this route. Despite its significance, substantial sections of this road are in a lamentable condition. It has become a major impediment, precipitating persistent traffic congestion and inflicting undue hardship on travellers, businesses, and transport operators. Regrettably, this situation is not unique; it reflects the reality on many of our busiest national highways. Our efforts should be directed towards the reconstruction and maintenance of our current road infrastructure before we announce plans for new road projects. The Nigerian populace requires functional and motorable roads, not merely projects that garner public attention. Efforts aimed at superficial improvements for political gain should not supersede the urgent need to address the condition of our existing, critical roadways. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

The woman selling akara is not praying for her kids to take over the business. She wants to give her child an education that helps him compete in this world. It is one thing to be overtly stupid. It is another to be heartless.

A woman earns ₦3,000 to ₦5,000 profit daily from her small akara business. She spends ₦12,000 and makes ₦17,000. In a month, she makes almost ₦120,000 profit. Many people who mock akara business don’t even earn ₦100,000 in a month. This is what a man said in support of the Nigerian First Lady’s advice to start akara business.🗣️

We went from "must you eat rice?" to "must you run all your equipments all the time?" to “apart from Ice block, what do we need 24/7 electricity for?” to “must an airport have 24/7 electricity?” & now to “To start Akara business doesn't take a lot of money” Take 2027 elections like your life depends on it because your life actually depends on it.

The reason your mother fried Akara to send you to school is so that you can be a better citizen of the society and have a fighting chance against poverty. She didn't do it for you to come online and defend frying of Akara as economic empowerment. Don't waste her efforts.

I’ve tweeted this before. Some of you men have issues with your wives, and she blocks you and storms out of the house for days. You try to reach her friends and family but they can’t tell you where she is. After a few days - about 2 days - her mum calls you to say she’s with her. The fight settles. Kumbaya!!! The elephant in the room - where were you in the last two days? You’re too foolish to realise this gap. When you do realise, you’re too weak to ask. You console yourself with “she was with a friend who didn’t want to disclose her location.” Modern man, I greet you. They have conditioned you to get used to blocking after a fight. The block transcends to ghosting and you take as normal. Whereas, this is the safe haven for your wife and boyfriend to enjoy a couple of days of zero stress. Modern man. I greet you.
