‼️There are reports that U.S. is talking to IRGC general Ghalibaf, the same guy who led the crackdown on our protests in 1998. I was there. Regardless, there are two scenarios: 1.Trump is telling the truth and thinks this guy could be an ally (I can’t even keep a straight face writing that). I highly doubt it. But even if that were the case, appointing someone like him would trigger an uprising, 90% of Iranians hate him and the entire system. 2.Trump is bluffing, pushing them to turn on each other while buying time for additional forces to arrive, and finalising plans around the Strait of Hormuz so they can move in while oil prices are stabilised. We’ve said this again and again: Iranians will settle for nothing less than regime change, and they will achieve it if they get proper support. It can start city by city, beginning from the west. And if it comes to boots on the ground, it should be Iranians. @PahlaviComms @NoorPahlavi @marcorubio @IsraelPersian

"Iran is being less strident in private discussions to end the war than it is in public, Arab mediators and other people familiar with the matter said, giving them hope the diplomatic effort they are trying to spark isn’t dead on arrival." - WSJ

So @Cappyarmy appears to confirm my theory that the U.S. Expeditionary Force will invade Qeshm Island instead of Kharg Island, to open the Strait of Hormuz. Secure the airport, land heavy equipment, then invade the mainland, advancing both east & west along the coast of Iran.

🇮🇷 Iranian soldiers in underground trenches on Kharg Island are posting photos and stating that they are ready to repel a possible US landing- 👇 🔹 Judging by the photo, the Iranians have already received FPV kamikaze drones produced by the Chinese company Shenzhen Beizao Innovation Technology Co., Ltd. This model is equipped with a 5.8 GHz frequency video transmission antenna. 🔹 The only threat that the US would face in a land operation - unlike Iranian standard conventional weapons - is precisely the large-scale use of medium-range FPV kamikaze drones within asymmetric warfare and ambushes carried out by operators… Otherwise, Iran does not have armored vehicles on land, nor can it offer organized resistance within the framework of standard infantry tactics against the US elite amphibious and land forces - especially considering they will have 100% air support… 🔹 Thus, if the US suffers losses in land clashes during the capture of the Strait of Hormuz islands, the vast majority will be caused by ambushes carried out by Iranian FPV drones… It is likely that Russian operators experienced in the Ukraine war are already on site. I'm starting to think the U.S. is going to invade Qeshm Islandin Iran, more specifically Qeshm International Airport, instead of Kharg Island. There are basically no inhabitants and it's perfect for positioning a massive deployment of air defenses to protect the Strait of Hormuz

🚨CNN: Iran has set traps and moved additional military forces and air defense systems to Kharg Island in recent weeks, in preparation for the possibility of a US operation to capture the island. US allies in the Gulf warn the US of significant losses to its forces if it continues with a ground operation there and recommend not carrying it out.
