@Yasshbhardwajj Definitely worked, neither character felt bad to play as. Both had very different but satisfying gameplay loops. That said, if we do get a Chris and Leon game...I don't know how either man's section will be scary 😅. But I did appreciate Leon had some horror.

@Midvsmi Played it for the first time in the build up to requiem. It's not awful from a gameplay perspective but it's still easily the worst one of the mainline games. It's a game I will likely never replay whereas I'd happily go back to play the rest.

My favorite part of working with Overwatch league was the 50-70 year old executives who couldn’t understand why their teenage to early 20’s audience wouldn’t pay $140 for a 3-4 hour match day that they could watch at home for free

@fableplayss 9 got me a lot more with the girl. Jack was great, but 7 was more creepy while 9 felt more unsettling. I was scared as grace far more than I was with Ethan. They're both great though. That said...that fuckin baby in 8 was scarier than both fuck that thing.

@Yasshbhardwajj With his regular weapons? No. With Isaac's weapons? Yeah absolutely, although he might struggle with some of the problems Isaac runs into just because I can't imagine Leon is much of an engineer. He'd have to improvise a lot

@ismaDinter2 I'm sorry I truly do not understand the hype this game gets. The city was great traversal was fun, but the story sucked. Arno was not remotely compelling compared to previous protagonists, and while the new games absolutely have problems nostalgia is blinding people.

@Yasshbhardwajj Yeah that'd probably be my only real complaint about RE9. Grace's sections felt perfect. Leon felt like some enemies were missing. That said I imagine mercenaries will come eventually and even though it wouldn't make sense, kinda want grace as a character in it.

It really sucks that this game doesn’t have a Mercenaries mode. They nailed the combat system and improved everything, way better than the RE4 remake... But what's the point when there's hardly any zombies to fight.
RE4 remake had tons of zombies for that satisfying combat.

My theory is that a lot of it has to do with the fact that we hadn’t had a NEW (non remake) mainline entry that pushes the CENTRAL RE storyline forward since RE6/REV2. RE7 & Village are great but they’re isolated happenings that feel disconnected from the central storyline.

I feel like the general sentiment behind all three of these classic franchises is that the latest installment isn’t it
SF6 I’ve heard mixed about from community. But Tekken 8 and MK1 seem to be like supremely hated by their communities lol

Painfully obvious lately that so many people have no idea who Chris actually is because they've only experienced him through the RE engine games..
Chris is just as much of a 🐐 of the franchise as Leon is and I promise you'll eat your words when RE1R, CVR, RE5R & more arrives.
