The Vintage Kings’ trend is the most significant event driving demand for single cards since covid checks, but the market changes they’ve created are illogical and different opportunities will exist for newcomers. Focus on finding NM+ vintage cards in general rather than overbuying any particular card. There will always be an abundance of poor-conditioned cards, but fewer ungraded 10’s exist every day. Behold the $900 weedle… You can blame market manipulation, and I’m sure vintage 10 populations will skyrocket this year, but condition scarcity is the underlying reason for current prices.
