Our 2025 Valley/Laredo Large School OVERALL MVP goes to Jacob Delgadillo of PSJA Baseball! DELGADILLO, an Odessa College signee put up some eye popping numbers this season. His efforts helped the PSJA Bears reach the Regional Final Championship Series vs Dripping Springs for the first time ever in school history. His bat to ball skills are very impressive and has the toughness and grit to be a dude at the next level as well. Delgadillo not only excelled at the plate but was a main cog in the Bears pitching staff notching 9 wins to go along with 87 strikeouts and a 1.08 ERA. Huge shoutout to our partner Fernando Villarreal of D1 Athletics to provide our overall MVP's with some batting gloves. Be sure and check them out! Stats are based off of REGULAR SEASON performance. Had a great outing on the mound today. Faced some adversity in a couple innings, but stayed composed and kept attacking. Ended the day with 6 strong innings, 7 strikeouts, 3 hits allowed, and helped the team lock in a 5-3 win. Proud of the way I stay composed and finished the game strong.@WayenSW behind the plate @stsliders.
