@eruprism Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with the update. To go back to 1.11 you can re-save your scenes in 2.0 via "Save as" and select Legacy format in the file dialog. Just note; new features like drawing, gifs and rich text notes will be lost when you save as legacy format.

@PureRef the 2.0 version boots up slower, load images slower, save slower, everything feels jankier than the 1.0 version, can I get the option to convert my scenes to the 1.0 version? I don't like that I'm forced to convert them to 2.0 version and there's no way to turn it back

@demoniacalchild Sorry to hear you're experiencing issues! We've had reports of PureRef 1.11 crashing when it tries to display the update dialog. You can disable checking for updates in the settings menu or by editing the settings file; add this under [General_Settings]: CheckForUpdates=false

@PureRef I declined to download (buy) the new version for the time being and since then all my PureRef pages close immediately after I open them. :( I hope it's just a bug and not intentional that you can't use the old purchased version anymore. ;_;

@PureRef The AppImage for Linux doesn't start. Looks like it's missing libcurl. I also can't log into my newly created account to post a bug on your forums. It says the account is inactive even though I already followed the activation link in the email.

@PureRef Yeah the lag goes away entirely if I zoom out. It's short bits of text in multiple notes. Here's the file, it's just some ref for an unfinished 3D modeling project drive.google.com/file/d/1GmTcBT…

@floatharr Thanks for the feedback, is it a lot of text in the notes? And does it improve if you zoom out a bit? If you're able to share the scene with us we would love to take a look and see if we can do anything about it in an upcoming version.

@PureRef Looks great but panning performance is pretty bad with lots of text notes. About 19 of them on screen, panning is like 3 fps at 4k. Just first impressions from opening old files

@PureRef Hello! I love the update idea especially drawing notes!! I had to revert to the old version though because my boards have missing images. The images are not missing when I switch back to the old version, so I'm not sure why they couldn't all transfer over ^^;

@PureRef would be nice to have an option to compress all images in pureref. I often paste screenshots straight from the clipboard on mac, and they're all high-res uncompressed PNGs so the pureref file size gets very big after a while

@PureRef Yeah it started just the other night. Had a few times where it wouldn't start saving at all. But it seems like it's saving again idk why

@PureRef Having an issue with saving, used to take a minute to save my file but without adding much more to it my project is taking around ten minutes to save.

@PureRef Well, ever since then I've made sure to not let pasted images go unsaved, and that file along with every other one has been working fine! Hasn't happened again. 👀

Oh dear, @PureRef the software started freezing when I resized the window and had images pasted but unsaved on an open pureref file

@VargasNi That doesn't sound good! How is your RAM situation when this happens? Does it happen even with empty scenes?
