As my first gig of 2026 Heidenfest was a triumph of fun and folk, Korpiklaani were worthy headliners playing all the favourites.

And come on, how can you not be entertained by the whole bill - Heidevolk, Trollfest and The Dread Crew of Oddwood.

Finntroll brought that more sinister edge and could also have been worthy headliners.

Three bands local to Bradford, three very different vibes, one top night for my last gig of 2025. Obviously everyone will know I went for Paradise Lost, but Terrorvision are always a fun live band and New Model Army rounded things off nicely.
