More posts like this today, than I've ever seen. Even people on low-ish 3x 5x leverage got wiped out because the alt charts look like this. Risk management is boring until this day comes. Now even if we run it back to ath, 0 remains at 0. Tough lesson for many today.

I gotta say I have never seen anything like this in my entire-longer than a decade-investing career 👀 Where an entire #crypto space would be down -70% in a single candle. It is worse than the covid nuke I just arrived home late, had tons of notifications so I opened up charts & was shocked to see it Heard there were some bad news regarding Trump vs Xi but such a sell-off isn't based on it, merely a trigger. This is a huge liquidation cascade of over leveraged positions where exchanges/MMs absolutely failed to provide liquidity, instead emptied the books & nuked literally EVERYBODY who had anything but 1x long opened (as anyone with 2x gets liquidated at -50%) Likely skipped many orders for many people too and the saying "stay out of leverage" is even more true than ever If you are in spot I highly recommend not doing anything right now and just let it play out. Liquidation cascades are likely to return to the origin if they were nothing more but that as the "news" likely gets resolved pretty soon. Unless it is entirely over, such liquidation events usually mark a new phase of the cycle (again, never seen it of this magnitude) I feel for everyone who got liquidated 🙏 This is honestly criminal
