@MaseAgentX @TheMindOfHY Kendrick LEGITIMATELY told Drake “Don’t speak lies about me and I won’t speak truths about you”….Drake took there bringing up abuse towards his fiancé and suggesting that his kids arent his but his best friends. Once you cross that line it’s fair game. Drake did dat to himself.

@ouiiner @TheMindOfHY Drake couldn’t sue that nigga outright cuz he’d look like an even bigger loser than he is😂😂 I read the lawsuit, the grounds he suing on was debunked by UMG thoroughly, they threw that shit out with the quickness. All he can do now is focus on Iceman, as he should lol he lost

@StoicCodeMind @TheMindOfHY Hip-Hop artists need to rely on themselves to make hits and music that resonates with fans. It ain’t Kendrick’s fault is Drake ain’t giving out features like that no more. Drake got his own album(Iceman) to worry about.

@QPSoCold @TheMindOfHY This damage control isn’t because Drake lost. It’s because Drake spread the wealth throughout the hip hop community and now no one is getting features. Hurts the music industry as a whole

Craziest part about this tweet is two years later he dated and impregnated a woman from a third world country who would get trains ran on her by his worst enemy.

@TheMindOfHY I think Jay Z knew his style simply wouldn’t appeal to a modern Gen Z audience so he dropped out the rap game, he doesn’t even seem to do it for fun anymore. Kanye on the order hand is always trying to evolve his sound, which explains why lots of the Gen Z youth likes him.

@TheMindOfHY Where did Wale go wrong bro? What am I missing? This guys been in the game for a decade + and the talent is undeniable. Yet it seems like he is being purposely undermined that. Something ain’t right

This is the first mainstream rapper I've seen work harder after his album dropped. This song is from November but this is the first time most people are hearing it.

@TheMindOfHY Marketing is a skill, and very expensive. That’s why co-signs and connections held so much weight, they were the bridge that made u a regular name to one that was sought after. No one cares about a co-sign anymore, artist genuinely gotta learn to how to market themselves now.

@QPSoCold Marketing is more accessible to everyone. The only limit is creativity. Back then it was networking and co-signs, which made it harder to break through. Even XXX/Ski for example, they made connections through real local events with other rappers in the scene. Same thing with LA.

There is so much fake nostalgia on the SoundCloud era on here. It was NOT easier to make it back then. In 2015, being a rapper with a SoundCloud link was seen the same way as these OnlyFans reply girls the past several years. It was a harsh stigma, people didn't even want to click on a link of a new rapper.

@TheMindOfHY Nahhh fr bro. Yeat and Carti the closets one we have to far, besides Travis. I’ve been extremely impressed with BigX tho, his rise seems too fast but you can easily understand why when u observe how much work he puts in. He’s very consistent

@TheMindOfHY Good point. I just hope producers are able to blur the lines between A.I usage and creating authentic beats that creates profound moments an in era. A simple example is No Heart by 21 Savage. The song was good but that legendary Metro beat had a special impact when it dropped.

The biggest problem anti-A.I. artists are going to run into is detection. Let's assume we have a very good and well known producer. This producer realizes he can make 10x as many beats using AI. This producer hides that he is using AI. How do you ever find out? It's like ghostwriters, most people just assumed every rapper wrote their lyrics. It wasn't until we got proof that we started to see things differently (and eventually nobody cared). But the difference with AI is that a software isn't going to snitch on you to the world.

@TheMindOfHY Many said 2026 Hip-Hop would be like 2016 Hip-Hop. It’s lookin good so far, even if 2026 doesn’t fully live up to 2016 I’m still satisfied with all the major drops so far. I’m especially impressed with Don Toliver.

@TheMindOfHY The Game reminds me of Meek Mill a lot. Both SUPEE talented, but their internet antics and corny behavior overshadows their craft. It hurts man, if these two understood the art of shutting tf up they’d be highly praised some of the greatest to ever do it uncontested. SMH

The Game doesn't get enough credit for how much he loves the craft of rapping. You can tell this shit had nothing to do with money for him.

The Game took to Instagram to give his official review of Baby Keem's Ca$ino album: Okay, let me un-pack my thoughts... So, 1st off lemme say that there wasn’t one beat on this album I didn’t love or wouldn’t have picked for myself. Beat selection can be the downfall for a lot of artists n history will show you that time & time again. Also, story telling over mid to uptempo beats is not for the weak. It’s a skill that not many can pull off. Biggie & PAC were masters at this. I to appreciate getting the Dot features here while awaiting what’s next from the “Boogeyman”. Always a good thing to have a cousin like Kendrick Lamar to lean on when needed. Like I said earlier in my review.. this is the 1st time I’ve really listened to Keem this much in one day while locking in & meticulously dissecting his style, beats, flows, delivery & over ability. And after getting 3 full listens, I can say that even listening from “The Hater” pov I review albums in on 2nd listens.. I still appreciated this project. The features were in all the right places for the most part.. the hip hop fan in me just wanted Em on one song as I explained above & definitely tripling down on wishing a visual is shot for “Dramatic Girl” featuring Skateboard P & Tyler The Creator. I’m glad that he kept the album to 11 tracks. I don’t think I would’ve liked it as much if there was anything more than 12 on this project. But.. I will say, overall I appreciated this album just as much as I did The Fall-Off & I’m not comparing the 2 at all. Two diff artist both super talented in their own way. There’s not much quality out here today in our genre so it’s always a gift when someone who cares about the craft delivers. I give this album a 6.5/10 which is just .5 away from what I gave the Cole album. If my ratings confuse or feel unjust.. please understand that I rate albums with Reasonable Doubt, The Chronic, Get Rich or Die Trying, Good Kid MAAD City, Illmatic, Doggystyle, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, The Marshall Mathers LP & Take Care being the ceiling. And hey, I’m only one man with one opinion. You can say your peace in the comments below as your opinion is what it is as well. I still gotta give Don Tolliver a good few spins as well as “Spiral Staircases” & review them but besides that... See yall when ICEMAN drops, unless somebody else drops sumn highly anticipated before then. – The Game
