The NFT space has been through a rough cycle. We’ve seen many platforms, collections and companies wind down their businesses due to a decline in revenue over the past four years. Nifty Gateway, Foundation, X2Y2 and many others shut down because of low volume, declining revenue and more. Not to mention, during this process a lot of people from CT pivoted to other things. Now there are fewer builders, collections and companies left working toward the betterment of the space throughout the NFT bear market. - Node Foundation: Taking the CryptoPunks provenance further - Yuga Labs: Building an IRL clubhouse and gaming via BAYC & Otherside - Igloo: Making Pudgy Penguins the best IP I won’t deny the fact that Blur, OpenSea and many other platforms hurt NFTs because of XP/points farming. The moment that went away was when we started to see a shift in the space. At the end of the day, just know that when one NFT collection wins, it’s a win for the entire NFT space. I’m not here for Punks vs. Apes vs. Penguins, I’m here to watch the entire NFT space win. The goal of each and every collection is to onboard more people into the space. NFTs are inevitable.

Even though I’m an NFT maxi, I won’t deny the fact that no meta is dead. Every time something is down 90% people call it dead no matter if it’s Bitcoin, NFTs, SocialFi, memecoins, Ordinals, gaming, AI or anything else. Every single meta will come back, regardless of where it is today. The first cycle is about hype and onboarding, the second cycle is about maturing over time. People who stay throughout the cycle always win.

I don’t understand why people blame the whole NFT space. I mean you bought an NFT for 10 ETH and now it's 0.5 ETH. But someone else bought it for 0.1 ETH and sold it to you at 10 ETH. You've to understand that trading is a zero sum game. There’s always someone on the other side of your “bad investment”. NFTs didn’t scam you, you just bought someone else’s exit liquidity. Same thing happens in memecoins, stocks, even real estate. People only call it a “scam” when they’re the last buyer. Think about it.

Nobody's been talking about Ordinals anymore not even the hate posts When Magic Eden removed Ordinals and Runes support people were furious because the community was abandoned by the biggest NFT marketplace that had heavily backed the ecosystem But the data says otherwise > 615k+ daily transactions (highest since late 2024) > cumulative inscriptions crossed 100M+ > average fees back toward 2023 boom levels > $ORDI pumped ~300% in 3 days Not sure if it’s worth full attention yet, but definitely interesting to see a sudden surge.
