We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways.
Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head:
-Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione
-Ginny was not Ginny
-Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film
-Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book
-Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain)
-Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup
-Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts
-Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that)
-Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead
-Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP
And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.

Nadie vota para elegir al piloto del avión en el que va a viajar. Nadie va a las urnas para elegir qué ingeniero va a hacer un puente. Hay decisiones que por su naturaleza no pueden ser democráticas, y pretender que sí deben serlo NO es ser más demócratas.
Por eso es importante una élite. La élite no es necesariamente mala, como nos quieren hacer creer. Es el conjunto de personas que dedicaron su tiempo, su interés y sus recursos para pensar mejor y tomar decisiones difíciles. La élite es necesaria, sobre todo, en decisiones que afectan a quienes no tuvieron ni el tiempo, ni el interés, ni los recursos para prepararse de esa forma. No es un problema que personas educadas y formadas estén en puestos que tienen ese nivel de impacto en la sociedad. Así debe ser, es exactamente el orden de las cosas.
