But none of this will come to pass if Iran loses the peace - meaning, it needs to negotiate a new regional order that is accepted by regional powers and not contested. (Iran's current gains remain effectively contested as we speak). That will not be done militarily, but diplomatically. And that phase has not even properly begun yet.
