Trump’s threats to leave NATO have ebbed & flowed. Hints that he will declare so tonight are massively troubling. Though he doesn’t legally have the power, his words alone would bring havoc. Perhaps the biggest own goal in history - ignoring every lesson & sacrifice of WW2.
